Every patient at Arthritis Care and Research Center receives a complete and comprehensive evaluation of autoimmune connective disorders and chronic pain conditions through extensive History and physical exam, Diagnostic Ultrasound testing of the joints , Specialized laboratory and immunology testing to arrive at accurate diagnosis of both common and rare autoimmune Rheumatologic conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis , Osteoarthritis Psoriatic Arthritis Lupus , Scleroderma , Sjogren’s disease , Crystal Arthritis like Gout and pseudogout soft tissue pain syndromes like Fibromyalgia , Myositis . Polymyalgia Rheumatica , Giant cell arteritis , Myositis ,and rare conditions like vasculitis and Behcet’s Disease. Treatment plan includes:
Discussion of Diet and Lifestyle changes
Recommendation on Evidence Based supplementation. ( please bring a list of current supplements and over the counter medications you are currently taking).
DMARDS ( disease modifying agnets) and Biologic therapies recommended as and when needed
Imaging studies and diagnostic ultrasound testing of the joints will be recommended and appropriate injection therapies discussed and provided at your visit as and when needed.
Referrals to other specialists will be provided as and needed.
Referral to physical therapy for evaluation and treatment will be set up along with medical bracing will be requested through your insurance when covered
All of the above are discussed and recommendations provided at each visit for all patients at individualized and personalized levels.
We also recommend to bring all of the laboratory and imaging studies done elsewhere with the past 3-5 years to your visits for review. All recommendations are provided on personalized and individualized levels to meeteach and every patient’s needs.
Close monitoring and Additional testing is recommended under direct medical supervision for every visit.
